The OTR Class A Driver will be responsible for safely transporting general freight over long distances using dry van and refrigerated trucks. This solo driving role requires a commitment to on-time deliveries while adhering strictly to DOT regulations and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be willing to be on the road for 2 to 3 weeks and maintain current documentation including MVR and medical card.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to trips
Complete accurate log documentation to ensure compliance
Maintain DOT compliance throughout all operations
Handle drop and hook loads efficiently
Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Class A CDL driver
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and medical card
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with commercial driving and vehicle inspections
Knowledge of safety compliance and DOT regulations
Strong time management and communication skills
Ability to solve problems independently while on the road
