This specific Fender Bassman, serial number BP05344,
Manufactured in 1963 and is a "brownface" 6G6-B circuit model.
The BP serial prefix indicates that this is a head-only unit that would have been sold with a separate 2x12" speaker cabinet,
forming a "piggyback"
DETAILS
* Tolex: rough blonde Tolex covering for both head and cabinet. (Recovered by professional/ see photo)
* Grill Cloth: Oxblood
* Logo: Grill-mounted flat Fender logo.
* Handle: Black strap or "dog bone" style handle.
* Knobs: White barrel-style knobs.
* Hardware:
* Chrome corners with a lip.
* Chrome glides (feet).
* Large chassis straps (5 5/8") to secure the chassis.
* 16" tilt-back legs for the speaker cabinet.
* Piggyback clips (side-bar clips, thumb screws, and receptacles) to attach the head to the cabinet.
*Replaced with a modern, grounded three-prong power cable for safety
* Power Tubes: 2 x 6L6WCG./5881
* Preamp Tubes: 4x 12AX7 WA
* Transformers: ( “A like-for-like replacement was done.”)

All repairs in the past was done by an authorized by a Fender Authorized Service Provider/Technician ( they has special training on FENDERS products and insures repairs meet FENDER’S standards)
