Penny is a registered 16 month old A2/A2 Jersey heifer with amazing potential.
She is currently open (meaning not pregnant). She was bred via AI (artificial insemenation) on March 28th but did not take to the breeding. The vet cleared her healthy and she can be bred again, we haven’t tried because it’s way too hot to breed cows right now.
Penny’s dam was giving 10.5 gal of milk per day at peak production and currently gives 7-8 gallons per day. Penny has great potential to be a good milk cow.
Penny has a great attitude but can be a little spicy and will need a firm hand to work with her.
